Rustic Elm Picture Frame.

This amazing old Elm has been reclaimed from a barn in Maidenhead that was built by Monks over 400 years ago.

It had spent its life outside in the elements which has given it this rustic weathered patina.

I have sympathetically cleaned up the surface retaining its character and texture, and given it a few coats of clear wax to nourish the original ancient Elm.

This Hobbit Picture Frame has got signs of old (treated) woodworm holes, it is not going suit you if you are adverse this!
