Rustic Oak Picture Frame. 

This textured old Oak was once used as flooring in a house in Sussex.

There is the expected wear and tear on this wood from something that has seen over a hundred years worth of foot steps, there are signs of past woodworm attack (treated) old nail holes and the odd piece of metal work that is still embedded in the oak.

I’ve finished this frame with a few coats of wax which give this ancient timber a nice subtle sheen.

You can hang this picture frame either way up.
